    • Trainees will learn 2-3 philosophers who created the curriculum and methodology of ECE.
    • Assessment: Question and Myths and Facts
WEEK 3
  • Philosophical foundations of early childhood education
    • Trainees will learn 2-3 philosophers who laid a foundation on ECE
    • Assessment: Question and Myths and Facts
WEEK 4
  • Research and Theories
    • Trainees will learn 2-3 research and theories of philosophers
    • Assessment: Question and Myths and Facts
WEEK 5
  • Importance of Action songs in ECE
    • Trainees will able to identify 2-3 importance of Action songs in ECE
    • Assessment: Midterm Exam (Week 1 to Week 5 Exam Coverage)
WEEK 6
  • Classroom Management and Positive Guidance/ Creative Arts in Early Childhood
    • Trainees will able to know 2-3 reasons why creative arts is relevant in ECE
    • Practical Application: Art Projects & Talent Showcase to express creativity (serves as participation grade)
WEEK 7
  • Language Arts and Reading for Early Childhood
    • Trainees will able to point out 2-3 significance of language arts in ECE
    • Practical Application: Book Club (Demo Reading) (serves as quiz grades)
WEEK 8
  • Social and Emotional Development
    • Trainees will learn the impact of Social and Emotional Development of a child
    • Assessment: Essays on the importance of Social and Emotional Development
WEEK 9
  • Educator as the Reflective Practitioner
  • Personal Growth and Professional Development
    • Trainees will be able to reflect upon themselves as an important educator in today’s society
    • Assessment: Oral activity on Personal Journey as an educator and influencer on the children around them
WEEK 10
  • Safety, Health, Hygiene and Nutrition
    • Trainees will be able to point out 2-3 safety rules to apply in the classrooms and homes with the children.
    • Assessment: Final (Week 6 – Week 10 Exam Coverage)
